Jose & Ruthie Salgado
Lead Pastors
As the Lead Pastors of The Anchor, Ruthie and Jose provide teaching, leadership, discipleship and guidance. Currently they oversee all the areas and the process of planting The Anchor Church NY. Led by the vision God gave him and his wife Ruthie for a different kind of church. He and a handful of people helped plant this new church in East Islip, New York. Presently he is a High School teacher. Jose is also a License minister, has served as a Youth Pastor and Associate Pastor on Long Island. Jose and Ruthie live in the Brentwood, New York area and have two children.
Associate Pastor
Roy helps facilitate all the volunteer teams, including Ushers, Greeters, Host, Worship, and Outreach. Roy helps lead the church towards creating engaging environments where people can connect with each other and grow closer to Christ. He serves as a assistant to the lead pastor. Roy has effectively served as a pastor in Brooklyn and Long Island. He and his wife, Elizabeth, live in North Babylon, New York and have two children, daughter in-law and a granddaughter.
